What if ...?

I am absent from school because of illness?

Phone the school office and leave a message for your tutor.

I wish to change or drop a course?

Talk this over first with your tutor and then get a Course Change Form from the Sixth Form Office

I want to see the Student Counsellor?

See Mrs Moore who will  arrange a meeting, in confidence.

I want to apply for a student grant from the Local Authority?

Get information from the Sixth Form Office.

I wish to leave school?

Discuss this with your tutor.  If you decide to leave you will need to get a Clearance Form from the Sixth Form Office.

I want to bring a car to school?

You need to fill in a special insurance form available from the Sixth form Office.

I wish to take leave of absence for a holiday or other reason?

It is best not to take holidays during school time.  If this cannot be avoided fill in and return a Leave of Absence Form.

I have been absent from school for 5 days or more because of illness?

Give your tutor a Doctor’s Note to cover the period of absence.
