Introduction
The Thomas Hardye School became one of the first generation of Science Colleges in September 2002. Science Colleges form one section of the Specialist Schools network.
The aim of all Science Colleges are to enhance the teaching and learning of science, increase the number of students studying science beyond sixteen and promote science as a relevant and creative option which can lead to a range of exciting and interesting careers.
As a Science College, we will create an enthusiasm for Science and Mathematics in the School and the community. We will create the resources and the expertise to turn this enthusiasm into ever higher standards of achievement.
